We’ve all been asked, "Why Humanities?" I've struggled to find an answer convincing to my family, to society, and to myself. Now, my answer is simple: to make sense of the world and ourselves.

Over the last four years, we have been exploring the full spectrum of the human experience. We learned to connect the past to the present, logic to emotion, and policy to poetry. We learned to see not just in black and white, but in every shade of the rainbow.

This has given us the empathy to navigate the "Odyssey years" of our 20s, that wandering between adolescence and adulthood. I want to tell our story: the story of a generation trying to make sense of it all. I would be honoured to represent you.
